This tour includes an overview of the modern city. Drive to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). Visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the crowning beauty, the Parthenon with its many monuments atop the Acropolis, including, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. We also visit the Acropolis Museum.

Drive along the illuminated boulevards of Athens. Continue to Marina Zea, one of the busiest yacht harbors in the Mediterranean. We finally return to Athens and the renowned "Plaka" district for dinner with live floor shows at a typical Greek taverna. Note: Drinks with dinner are not included.

Driving along the coastal road past countless coves, we arrive at Sounion. A crowning feature is Cape Sounion, dominated by the spectacular Temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea.

ANCIENT CORINTH: Monday & Friday from Apr. 18 to Oct. 28. 8:15 am - 1:30 p.m.
Drive west from Athens to the spectacular Corinth Canal (brief stop). Continue to Ancient Corinth, view the archaic Greek Temple of Apollo, one of the oldest in Greece. Here in 52AD St. Paul appeared before the Roman governor Gallio and later wrote his famous letters to the Corinthian Christians. Before returning to Athens a brief stop at the ancient port of Kenchreai where St. Paul disembarked in 51AD and founded a Christian community.

ONE-DAY SELECTION

ARGOLIS - MYCENAE - NAUPLIA - EPIDAURUS: Tues, Wed, Thur & Sat. from Apr. 2 to to Oct. 20. Tues. & Sat. from Nov. to Mar. 2007. 8:15 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal (brief stop). Proceed to Mycenae, visit the Tombs of Agamemnon and the Palace. Then on to Nauplia. After lunch, visit Epiduarus and its theatre, famous for its remarkable acoustics.

DELPHI: Daily, Apr. to Nov. Wed, Fri & Sun. Nov. to Mar. 2007. 8:15 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Drive through Levadia and Arachova. Arrive in Delphi, the ancient sanctuary of Apollo. Visit the Museum in which one can see among other archaeological treasures, the unique bronze Charioteer. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring. etc.

ONE DAY THREE-ISLE CRUISE: Full day. Daily, All year Round.
Set sail for the island of Hydra. You have time at for strolling,shopping or swimming. Sail for the island of Aegina, Lunch is served after sailing. Short visit of Poros. Finally, re-embark for the sail back to Flisvos Marina.
